Vallejo Resilience Network
Powered by the Proposition 64 Youth Prevention & Opportunity Program

Club Stride is a core partner in the Vallejo Resilience Network, leading cannabis prevention education, youth workshops, and culturally responsive evaluation. Through this role, Club Stride amplifies youth voice to support prevention efforts rooted in equity, resilience, and community healing.

Before

After
Together, we’re preventing harm, building opportunity, and creating safer, stronger communities for Vallejo youth.

What We Do
The Vallejo Resilience Network brings youth, families, and partners together to:
-
Prevent or reduce youth cannabis use through culturally relevant drug education and mentoring.
-
Expand opportunity by connecting youth to leadership, employment, and community service.
-
Improve public safety with monthly neighborhood cleanups and community restoration.
-
Promote healing through workshops, listening sessions, and youth-led storytelling.
Our Impact
Every month, the Resilience Network delivers:
-
2 Youth & Community Workshops led by Club Stride and VCUSD.
-
1 Justice-Involved Youth Workshop facilitated by the Center for Urban Excellence.
-
4–6 Neighborhood Cleanups coordinated by Healthy Vallejo, transforming shared spaces.
Annual Reach:
-
24+ youth prevention workshops
-
12+ justice-involved youth workshops
-
50+ community cleanups
-
500+ young people engaged in prevention, leadership, and healing
Why This Matters
Vallejo youth already report cannabis is easy to access—and too many families live in communities marked by systemic disinvestment. The Resilience Network is changing that story: one workshop, one cleanup, one youth leader at a time.
